Hey Heroes! On the latest episode of Hero’s Journey, I talked to Andy Thomas, newest member and guitarist of the band Rivers of Nihil.

Andy joined Rivers of Nihil in 2023, after being a touring member with the band in 2022. However, he’s been friends with the band for decades, bringing a new but familiar voice into the group.

Rivers of Nihil have over 200,000 monthly Spotify listeners, they’ve been featured on a number of playlists, and their upcoming self-titled album is out May 30th.

We talked about their upcoming self-titled album, being the newest member of the band, blending metal with other genres, the story behind the band name, and more!
